Agreed strategic cooperation between BBI and the Summit100 Business Leaders of South-East Europe
Mr. Amer Bukvić, CEO of BBI, in the capacity of member of the Managing Board of the Summit100 business leaders of South-East Europe took part in the Board meeting held in Belgrade on September 30. The Summit100 is an initiative started in 2011, which gathers associations and managers from Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia and representatives from Bosnia and Herzegovina. The goal of the initiative is to seek synergies of regional economies and through partnership and intensive cooperation to advance competitiveness of the region, to attract direct investments and performance at third markets.
The meeting agreed on a detail plan of activities aimed at realization of the agreed obligations focused on further business integration and creation of better economic and life conditions in the region. To that effect, the meeting agreed on strategic cooperation between Summit100 and Sarajevo Business Forum, which will take place for the fifth time next year. Participation of businessmen from the region and members of Summit100 business leaders has been announced for the forthcoming SBF.
Members of the Managing Board discussed about five identified sectors in whose domain it is possible to attain competitive advantage in the region - food, energy, information technology, tourism and construction.
The meeting agreed to hold an InterSummit100 meeting in Sarajevo at the end of the year, which should help in developing of a concrete plan for further cooperation in field of tourism and food industry.
