Bosna Bank International and PGlobal, a renowned consultancy firm from Turkey, held today a Workshop for representatives of 100 Bosnian companies which will participate in Sarajevo business forum. The Workshop should provide participants with detailed information and directions as to how they should prepare documentation and what method should be used in preparing feasibility studies for projects they are planning to apply for with potential investors.

Experts from Turkish Development Bank and local consultants were involved in the first Workshop and the key presenter was Dr. Murat Yulek, Director General of PGlobal. Dr. Yulek held important positions in IMF, World Bank, Islamic Development Bank and other prominent financial institutions.

Mr. Amer Bukvić, CEO of BBI and Dr. Haris Silajdžić, Member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, publically announced the date for Sarajevo Business Forum 2010, which is going to be organized by the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Bosna Bank International, Global Alliance for Partnership in International Development (GAPID), Bushnak Group and Thiqah.

˝Sarajevo Business Forum is due to begin on 6. April, on the Day of liberation of Sarajevo, since this day signifies important event, as we should also like to liberate ourselves from our inactivity and our old habits and systems of the past. We are hopeful that this investment conference will help us achieve this objective˝, said Dr. Silajdzic, one of the patrons of Sarajevo Business Forum.

Mr. Amer Bukvić, CEO of BBI declared that Sarajevo Business Forum should become yearly event, which will be held on the same day every year and as such it represents unique opportunity for Bosnian economy.

˝Success of this investment conference we are preparing for 6. April, 2010 depends largely on your ability as to how you in these workshops, will be able to master the techniques of preparing project feasibility studies,'' pointed out Mr. Bukvić.

Organizers of the Forum expect the arrival of a large number of investors from various countries from the Middle East, Asia and Southeastern Europe, as well as other dignitaries from around the world. Some of the prominent  world figures who have already confirmed their participation at the Forum are  Dr. Ahmad Mohamed Ali, President of the Islamic Development Bank and Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamed, the former Prime Minister of Malaysia, while Turkish Prime Minister H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdogan is also expected to attend, however his attendance has not yet been officially confirmed.
