Bosna Bank International VIP Business Club and PGlobal, well renown business consultancy from Turkey, held their second joint workshop in Sarajevo on Thursday, 28 January 2010, for managers  and staff of some 70 government and private companies engaged in different business activities in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Second Workshop was designed with the specific objective in mind to acquaint the participants with both theoretical and practical knowledge and technical expertise in order to be able to produce good quality feasibility studies for business projects for which they are planning to apply for with international investors at the forthcoming ‘Sarajevo Business Forum 2010’  (SBF) to be held in Sarajevo on 6 -7, April, 2010.

This was a second workshop to date, out of four practical seminars, planned to be conducted before the Forum. Workshops are intended to provide precise information, practical knowledge and technical expertise to representatives of Bosnian companies so they can be more successful in attracting investor’s interest in their business projects. Preparation of proper and bankable project documentation and using the right methods, according to acceptable international standards are indispensible factors in making any project a success.

Workshops are conducted by Dr. Murat Yulek, managing director of  PGlobal, a business expert with extensive experience in the field of banking and finance who also served with several major global multilateral financial organizations such as IMF, World Bank, Islamic Development Bank (IDB) and other like- minded organizations.

Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) will gather a large number of major international investors from the countries of the Middle East, Asia and Europe. The Conference will focus on the four major economic sectors in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Energy, Agriculture, Infrastructure and Tourism, with a clear objective to present Bosnia and Herzegovina to potential foreign investors as a suitable business environment for foreign companies to invest their capital, create joint ventures or consider other types of business collaboration with Bosnian companies.

The Forum will be organized by the BBI VIP Business Club and TIQAH - the Business Club of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) in cooperation with GAPID (Global Alliance for Partnership in International Development) established by the former Prime Minister of Malaysia Dr. Mahathir Mohammad, and the Bushnak Group, one of the leading business corporations from Saudi Arabia.

Their attendance at the Forum have already confirmed well known international statesmen such as Rejep Tayyip Erdogan, PM of Turkey, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Davutoglu, the Foreign Minister of Turkey, Dr. Mahathir Mohammad,  the former PM of Malaysia and the Chairman of  (GAPID) as well as prominent business leaders like Dr. Mohammad Ali, the President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB), Khalid al-Aboodi, director general of the OPEC Fund for International Development, Dr. Adil Bushnak, Chairman of the Bushank Group, Sheikh Bin Saeed Al-Maktoum, President of the Emirates Airline, Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim Al-Shaibani, President of the Dubai Islamic Bank and Mr. Wadah Khanfar, General Manager of Al-Jazeera Network.
