Members of the Coordinating Team for preparation of Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) 2010, led by Mr. Amer Bukvic, Chief Executive Officer of Bosna Bank International (BBI) and dr. Murat Muhamed Ramadanovic, Minister Councilor for economic diplomacy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, earlier today, presented the concept of the forthcoming Sarajevo Business Forum - the first international investment conference - to the diplomats of CEFTA countries accredited in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

CEO of BBI, whose VIP Business Club in cooperation with its counterpart, VIP Business club of the Islamic Development Bank (Tiqah), Global Alliance for International Development (GAPID) and the Bushnak Group, informed the diplomats present at the meeting about the significance of the Forum, not only for Bosnia and Herzegovina,  but for the whole region of South East Europe.

„Sarajevo Business Forum is not a one day event or a onetime conference, nor is it a conference of one single country. On the contrary, SBF is the conference which is supposed to immensely benefit the whole our region' Mr. Bukvic said. He explained that the SBF 2010 will involve presentations of business projects from Serbia and Croatia as well, while subsequent Forums in the years to come have the ambition to actively involve two regional countries from South East Europe each year. Mr. Bukvić also mentioned that, apart from Serbia and Croatia, which will be invited to present their business projects and investment opportunities to potential foreign investors, other regional countries will be given opportunity to attend the conference.

Diplomats of neighboring countries welcomed the idea of SBF, describing it as a very significant chance for their respective economies and agreed to give their full support to the Forum, hoping that, in the near future, business enterprises from their countries will be able to participate jointly in the markets of countries from which major investors are expected to attend the Forum on April 6. And 7.

What was particularly appealing to the diplomats of CEFTA countries, who attended the meeting, was their realization that some of the most influential names from the investment and business world from the oil-rich Gulf countries, as well as Asia and Europe, have already confirmed their attendance at the Forum.
