BBI invited BH companies to the Investment Conference in Azerbaijan

Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF) is continuing its activities. SBF organizers - Bosna Bank International and the Islamic Development Bank Group (IDB) - invited companies from Bosnia and Herzegovina to participate in the Investment conference in Azerbaijan which is due to be held in Baku from 21 -23 June, 2010.

Azerbaijan dubbed 'land of black gold',  that is crude oil and its derivatives represents a market that offers enormous business opportunities not only for local but also international companies. BBI therefore decided to invite its corporate clients, members of its VIP Business Club and other members of the Bosnian business community to attend this important conference organized by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Development Bank – IDB.

“Sarajevo Business Forum 2010 had only formally ended, but the work SBF generated continues. What we are doing at present is an attempt to open up new market opportunities for our clients and Bosnian companies alike. The Conference in Azerbaijan is precisely that - the opportunity for the representatives of private Bosnian companies and publicly owned business enterprises to get in contact with their counterparts from Azerbaijan as well as those from other CIS member countries (former Soviet republics) to survey the economic climate and spot the opportunities for their participations in those markets.

Naturally, this is the chance for Bosnian companies to meet with international investors and to entice them to invest in projects in Bosnian and Herzegovina. Up until now 14 Bosnian companies registered their participation at the Conference, among them are the leading enterprises such as Hidrogradnja, Tehnograd, Euroasfalt, Energoinvest, Širbegović, Šipad Komerc, Eltra. Bekto Precisa, Halal Europe and others.

Three weeks still remain before the Conference in Azerbaijan will take place and we expect more Bosnian companies to register their interest”, declared  Amer Bukvic, the CEO of Bosna Bank International.
